Facebook Security Issue

a family member is having a security issue on Facebook I can not find an answer for and he is only a teenager, so we are concerned. Recently he found that someone had created a fake profile of him, including using his photos and information. Each time we click on Report, another profile pops up. The unique issue is that a search of him on any other computer shows only his profile. On his computer however, all of the profiles are currently visible (There are about 6). Is this a malware/spyware issue with his particular laptop or something else? any thoughts?
