Samsung UN46C8000 Networking Question

Hi All,

I just picked up a Samsung UN46C8000 3D LED TV and I wanted to network all my devices (PS3, TV, etc) through hard wire to my network. My question to you guys is what would provide me with the best signal/speed in my current situation. I have a wireless router hooked up to my Cable modem in the basement and my TV is upstairs. I was thinking of setting up a Linksys WET610N Wireless bridge hooked up to a 4-port switch and hook up all my devices to that switch. I think the bridge actually repeats the signal. The other option would be to buy another wireless router and use this as an access point. What would give me the optimal signal strength and speed to steam HD movies/tv shows.

Thanks all in advance fo all the help

mark__11,

I've see bridges used with success in the past, although I haven't personally attached a wireless bridge to a 4-port switch.

Try asking this question in the C|Net networking forms. You probably get a more accurate answer from some of the networking experts that answer questions there, and they also might be able to give more details based on your desired setup.
