Best HD for under 1000

Ok so with there being LED and Plasma, all i want to do is play some video games, mainly the 360. What is the best HDTV for under 1000. please list a few if needed and if i need to spend over 1000 to be happy, because yes i would like something very good then list that as well if its a huge leap, say 800 dollar TV is good, but 1100 is amazing then i would get the 1100 one.
