Cant play a video attachment in an email

I can't play a video attachment in an email. I suppose it requires flashplayer support. I've tried using Azul and Buzz with no luck, and the VLC application doesn't seem to be available in iTunes at the moment. Is there anyway to play these files on an iPhone?
