My questions:
1. Does this error affect your keyboard or caps lock key also?
2. What is "trying to load"?
3. What quickens program?
4. What is the exact error message (full litteral message without typos please).

Click on the link below:

the system is not modified

Just a NOTE: Typing in all capital letters is hard to read and is considered "SHOUTING" on the forums...

Hope this helps.

sorry about the shouting. I was trying to download quicken 2007 deluxe and the download was interrupted by the message that my system was not modified. I run XP on my computer.Thank you for any help.

That's a message from the setup program telling you it didn't do anything for some reason. It might have been better if it had been telling you WHY it didn't do (couldn't do) anything also, but it seems it didn't.
Permissions, as hinted to in the link Grif gave, could be a cause.
