Resize all .jpg images in a folder at the same time

At one time I knew how to resize all the images in a folder with one click of the button. My goal was to take normal size .jpg and convert them to good quality email sizable.

Any assistance or reminders appreciated.

Thanks.

If you are using windows xp, try this wonderful tool from microsoft. You can select all the pictures and with on right-click make them any size you want.

"Image Resizer
This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click."

I would recommend the Batch Conversion utility of IrfanView (freeware) that can do a lot more than resizing. Change the format, resolution, brightness / contrast, colour depth, and what have you .....

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
and try their image resizer.exe. Seems to work thus far but it is Microsoft after all. Good luck

Yes, it is very easy in ACDSee 5.00. Select all (blu them all) images and click on resize. Then just select percentage a test. Before you do it select some directory under options in ACDsee 5.0. Images wil be quickly resized and you'll find them in the directory you've specified.
