I bought a used comp. tower, now I need to get it started.

The unit starts up, but it asks for a password and I don't have it.... so now what do I do ????? thanks !! uglyboat1@peoplepc.com

If you do not need anything off of it then look inside the case and there should usually be a small battery, this keeps the password and bios settings. Remove this for around a minute or two and then put it back in, Post back with the results...

now the tower will not key the monitor ... the screen will not show the tower message ...soooo i feel this tower is now headed for the recycle dump... bye !!!!!
