Any idea why this would happen? It's still adjusting the speaker volume, but the accompanying image no longer shows up. Same thing for mute.
It just started happening after I uninstalled the Script Shield from avast antivirus.
EDIT: Three more reboots and it's back to normal, seemingly. Weird.
